Are your seasonings natural?
Yes, Juliabelle’s Seasonings are 100% natural, hand-blended and contain no MSG or GMOs.
Are seasoning blends vegan? Gluten-free?
Yes, our seasonings are hand-blended in small batches from plants, natural herbs and whole spices, so by nature they are vegan and gluten free. Please be advised that our rice mixes are not gluten-free. There are not enough gluten proteins in any of these products to cause an effect for someone with Celiac disease. In cases like these, the FDA allows the products to be labeled gluten-free; however, we prefer not to label these products as gluten-free. Currently, our cornbread mix is not gluten-free; we are currently developing a gluten-free mix.
What is the shelf-life of your seasonings?
The answer to this question will depend on the conditions under which they are stored. As a rule, ground spices will stay fresh for about 2-3 years. Be sure to store them in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct heat or sunlight; keep them tightly closed when not in use; and make sure no moisture gets into the container.
What does the word “spices” mean on an ingredient list?
This term is NOT used to hide fillers; rather many of our blends contain a proprietary, complex blend of spices. We sometimes use “spices” because a seasoning may contain a spice, it is such a small amount that it is not a primary flavor component in the blend.
How much is shipping?
Our shipping costs are priced to cover the charges by USPS without any additional fees. Your cost is based on the weight of the products in your order and the distance of your delivery address from Akron, OH. The shipping cost will be provided to you before you complete your order. We also offer free shipping for all orders over $45.
How soon will my order ship?
Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of however, it can take up to 72 hours based on if items are in stock. Orders are shipped and delivered via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise specified.
How soon will my order arrive?
U.S. based orders normally arrive between 5-10 business days.
Do you accept international orders?
Currently, we do not ship international orders.
If I live in the Akron area can I pick up my order?
We do not offer in store pickup through our website. Our products are currently sold at Northside Marketplace 21 Furnace Street Akron, OH 44308 (234) 542-6627, please contact them directly for product availability if you would prefer to get your products there.
