Tzatziki Gyros Sauce:

Gyros are a quintessential Greek meal made with lamb meat and a variety of vegetables inside a savory, soft pita wrap, but the sauce is what really sets the dish apart. Creamy, tangy, and downright delicious. We guarantee you’ll love this mixture and you can even use it as a regular dip for parties and snacks! Follow the simple recipe below to make your own homemade gyros sauce!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Oikos Plain Greek Yogurt

  • ¼ cup chopped cucumber

  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion

  • 2 Tbsp. Meet the Greek Seasoning 

Mix ingredients thoroughly together; refrigerate for 1 hour. Enjoy!

Our second favorite variation of this blend is the Meet the Greek Marinade:

This seasoning goes perfectly with just about any kind of meat. If you don’t believe us, try it for yourself; make that Marinade Magic happen!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tbsp. Meet the Greek Seasoning

  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1 Tbsp. warm water

For shish kabobs cut your beef, chicken, lamb, or pork into 1-inch cubes. Place your meat and marinade into a large resealable plastic bag making sure that your meat is covered evenly. Refrigerate 8-12 hours (or overnight) before cooking.
